Mallard News:

    

Mallard has recently completed a project to produce a complete "Financial Procedures" manual for use in well over 100 schools in an Inner London Borough. The 200 page document covers everything from Governors' responsilbilities to school journey accounts and is extremely user-friendly, intuitive and easy to read. (will be text/flash file)

Other News:

The DFES requirement for schools to use consistent financial reporting (CFR) came into effect on 1st April 2002. Schools which have not already adopted this accounting format will have to decide how to map their existing ledger codes to the new system. Additionally, budgetary planning for the new financial year 2003/04 should assume the format of consistent financial reporting. Further details can be found at the DFES web site.

Mallard has already implemented a SIMS accounting package in full accordance with CFR at one of our major client schools.
